Re-investing where we live and work

At DigiCOPY, we strive to play a vital role within each community we serve. We support many community based organizations through donations, volunteers, sponsorships, and non-profit pricing. Here are just some of the ways we are re-investing where we live and work.

DigiCOPY was a proud supporter of the 2017 Team Schierl Companies Golf Classic at the Stevens Point Country Club on June 21st. We sponsored a foursome, staffed a contest at one of the holes and joined almost 150 golfers raising money for great organizations throughout Central Wisconsin. Thanks to all the golfers and sponsors who participated and thanks to Team Schierl Companies Charitable Giving Fund for their great work in our community.

"Aloha Lanes" was the theme for Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl for Kids Sake in Eau Claire on May 10, 2017. DigiCOPY co-workers from Eau Claire broke out the leis, straw hats and Hawaiian shirts in support of the annual fundraiser for BBBS in Northwestern Wisconsin. DigiCOPY co-workers from across the state will participate in four Bowl For Kids Events this year.

From the DigiCOPY corporate mission statement, "We acknowledge the invaluable relationships we form with our communities, customers and co-workers. We will play a vital role within each community we serve."

Thanks Big Brothers Big Sisters for the invaluable role you play in the communities we serve.

"Points for Destiny" Bowlathon

Destiny-Point Bowling Team

DigiCOPY was pleased to be an event sponsor for the 7th annual Destiny Point "Points for Destiny" Bowlathon on April 29th at 5 Star Lanes in Plover. Craig Shuler, Brant Bergeron and Jessica Luisi from the DigiCOPY corporate office were part of one of the bowling teams (pictured above).

All proceeds from "Points for Destiny" benefit Destiny Point Women's Restoration Home and programs to change women's lives through residential transformation. "Every year, Destiny Point continues to help women from Wood and Portage County," said Julie Worzella, Founder & Executive Director. "The average cost per year to support one woman is $2,000, at no cost to her – and with addictions on the rise, more and more women are in need of our help," she added.

Women dealing with eating disorders, alcohol and drug abuse and co-dependency, domestic abuse, unplanned pregnancy, depression and PTSD have found support from the Destiny Point program. The one-year faith-based program is structured for success, but relies solely on donations to continue their ministry.

For more information on the Destiny Point Women's Restoration Home, contact Julie Worzella, at 715-824-5872 or jworzella@destinypoint.org

Helping Feed the Hungry in Milwaukee

DigiCOPY is pleased to support Palermo's Pizza and their Easter Baskets for the Hungry program. Since 2008, Palermo's, in conjunction with the Hunger Task Force, have provided 1500 Easter meals and food baskets annually to Milwaukee area residents in need. Palermo's owners recognized the need for such a program when they learned no one was providing food for the hungry, at what is supposed to be a joyous time of the year...Easter.

DigiCOPY co-workers, Brant Bergeron and John Mullins, were members of "Team Sauce" and assisted with food packing and distribution to the hundreds of cars who lined up to receive their boxes. DigiCOPY also donated the printing for menu card sheets inserted in each box, to create healthy meals with the food items.

Ripon and the 1 millionth piece

1,000,000 pieces of mail

DigiCOPY and Ripon College celebrated the millionth piece of mail printed and processed in January, 2017. (l-r) Melissa Anderson, Ripon College VP of Marketing & Communications; Chris Berndt, DigiCOPY Regional Sales Representative; Shelly Martin, DigiCOPY Customer Service Representative; Cordelle Walker, Ripon College student employee; and Kim Scanlon, Ripon College Office Manager for Alumni & Annual Fund

A major milestone was reached at DigiCOPY in January 2017, when, after only ten months, the millionth piece of direct mail was printed and processed for distribution. The Stevens Point based digital printer began mailing services in March, 2016. Ripon College, one of over 150 companies/organizations utilizing DigiCOPY's online ordering system, was the lucky customer whose printed/mail piece clicked "one million" on the counter. DigiCOPY commemorated the millionth piece of mail with a special presentation to Ripon College February 17th.

Veterans Day Cards

Veterans Day Cards

In honor of Veterans Day, DigiCOPY in Stevens Point and Wausau printed and distributed almost 1,700 complimentary Veterans Day cards and envelopes to customers and community members. The red, white and blue Veterans Day cards were available at the DigiCOPY locations in Stevens Point and Wausau the week leading up to Veterans Day on November 11th.

"We are grateful for the dedicated service of our veterans and grateful for the loyal customers we have in the Stevens Point and Wausau areas," said Craig Shuler, DigiCOPY president and CEO. "We wish to share our gratitude by providing the complimentary Veterans Day cards…and for the cost of a stamp or the time it takes to hand deliver a card, we hope central Wisconsin will express their 'thanks' to those neighbors, family members and friends who have served or continue to serve their country."

The card program will be expanded to all DigiCOPY locations in 2017.

We Rock in Pink! Great day with the La Crosse team.

DigiCopy is a proud sponsor of Steppin' Out in Pink. A walk for local breast cancer research & services.
