Re-investing where we live and work

At DigiCOPY, we strive to play a vital role within each community we serve. We support many community based organizations through donations, volunteers, sponsorships, and non-profit pricing. Here are just some of the ways we are re-investing where we live and work.

Fireball Run

Wellness Run
Wellness Run Wellness Run

A show for adventurers, drivers, and knowledge seekers, Fireball Run is an authentically filmed series chronicling the endeavor and excitement of 40 aspirational driving teams leaving their lives behind in search of amazing places, unique attractions, and extraordinary people. Throughout every competition day, these teams are provided several trivia clues called Missions, each one relating to a unique point of interest. If solved, it's answer reveals a location they must get to. Upon arrival, teams are presented a rare opportunity, unique task or challenge activity. Every mission and experience introduces a new chapter in the overall story of a great and often under-discovered destination.

The 2017 edition of Fireball Run started in Eau Claire in late September. DigiCOPY was proud to help produce the banners and be involved with the production. The event live streamed on Amazon from September 22nd through the 30th, with the eventual winners being crowned in South Dakota. The Eau Claire Xcelerators team placed 25th of 37 teams. DigiCOPY Community Involvement Award

DigiCOPY Community Involvement Award Charlie Pufahl

Charlie Pufahl is the recipient of the inaugural DigiCOPY Community Involvement Award. Charlie, a 15 year co-worker in the Wausau store, has been active in the Wausau/Mosinee area community for decades. Charlie came up with the 3C's concept for our DigiCOPY mission and philosophy (Co-Workers, Customers, Community), that we all live by today.

The inaugural Community Involvement Award was presented to Charlie in Wausau on July 27th. Charlie was joined by Craig Shuler, Brant Bergeron and Chris Berndt and Missy Pregler (pictured above)...three of the original co-workers in the Wausau location.

The award includes a quote from Arthur Ashe that sums up Charlie's attitude toward community involvement - "It is not the will to surpass others at all costs…rather it's the will to serve others at all costs." Way to go Charlie!

Give Back To Those Who Have Given

Ageless Aviation Dreams Foundation   Give Back To Those Who Have Given

The Ageless Aviation Dreams Foundation is a non-profit organization established and dedicated to honoring seniors and United States military veterans. The primary focus is on individuals living in long-term care communities. Their mission is to "Give Back To Those Who Have Given". Through their donors, the Foundation provides Dream Flights in a Boeing Stearman biplane, the same aircraft used to train many military aviators in the 1940's.

Ageless Aviation was at the Stevens Point Municipal Airport on June 21st...DigiCOPY was proud to support the program by providing the promotional banner that touted the event in Stevens Point, that will also will travel the state and region promoting future flights.

A group of Stevens Point area citizens wants Wisconsin to have its own plane and has set a goal to raise $125,000 to purchase and initially operate a Boeing Stearman biplane – appropriately named "Spirit of Wisconsin" – with the inaugural Dream Flight to occur at the Stevens Point Municipal Airport.

"Points for Destiny" Bowlathon

Destiny-Point Bowling Team

DigiCOPY was pleased to be an event sponsor for the 7th annual Destiny Point "Points for Destiny" Bowlathon on April 29th at 5 Star Lanes in Plover. Craig Shuler, Brant Bergeron and Jessica Luisi from the DigiCOPY corporate office were part of one of the bowling teams (pictured above).

All proceeds from "Points for Destiny" benefit Destiny Point Women's Restoration Home and programs to change women's lives through residential transformation. "Every year, Destiny Point continues to help women from Wood and Portage County," said Julie Worzella, Founder & Executive Director. "The average cost per year to support one woman is $2,000, at no cost to her – and with addictions on the rise, more and more women are in need of our help," she added.

Women dealing with eating disorders, alcohol and drug abuse and co-dependency, domestic abuse, unplanned pregnancy, depression and PTSD have found support from the Destiny Point program. The one-year faith-based program is structured for success, but relies solely on donations to continue their ministry.

DigiCOPY is pleased to support Palermo's Pizza and their Easter Baskets for the Hungry program. Since 2008, Palermo's, in conjunction with the Hunger Task Force, have provided 1500 Easter meals and food baskets annually to Milwaukee area residents in need. Palermo's owners recognized the need for such a program when they learned no one was providing food for the hungry, at what is supposed to be a joyous time of the year...Easter.

DigiCOPY co-workers, Brant Bergeron and John Mullins, were members of "Team Sauce" and assisted with food packing and distribution to the hundreds of cars who lined up to receive their boxes. DigiCOPY also donated the printing for menu card sheets inserted in each box, to create healthy meals with the food items.

Veterans Day Cards

Veterans Day Cards

In honor of Veterans Day, DigiCOPY in Stevens Point and Wausau printed and distributed almost 1,700 complimentary Veterans Day cards and envelopes to customers and community members. The red, white and blue Veterans Day cards were available at the DigiCOPY locations in Stevens Point and Wausau the week leading up to Veterans Day on November 11th.

"We are grateful for the dedicated service of our veterans and grateful for the loyal customers we have in the Stevens Point and Wausau areas," said Craig Shuler, DigiCOPY president and CEO. "We wish to share our gratitude by providing the complimentary Veterans Day cards…and for the cost of a stamp or the time it takes to hand deliver a card, we hope central Wisconsin will express their 'thanks' to those neighbors, family members and friends who have served or continue to serve their country."

The card program will be expanded to all DigiCOPY locations in 2017.
